FB Cooper Suspended for Academics
And the hits just keep on coming this season
"Tennessee senior fullback Kevin Cooper won’t be available when the Vols travel to South Carolina on Saturday. According to Derek Dooley, Cooper has been suspended for one game — at least — for academic reasons.
"Everybody’s on the same academic accountability policy," Dooley said. "Team hurts, team suffers.""

Grand
At least Dooley’s keeping them accountable here. School-mandated academic sanctions don’t hit until bowl season, so my guess is midterm grades just came out and Cooper is getting a wake-up call. Good for CDD.

Oh, I know
I was with you. Just commenting that this at least reflects well on Dooley, if not the team.

It's not like this will affect the outcome of the season. Good discipline.
The COEXIST bumper sticker is ridiculous. How are people supposed to get along when one side is flying planes into tall buildings or wearing sweater vests full of C4 and nails? The faiths are MUTUALLY EXCLUSIVE.
