What Tennessee's Future Opponents Did This Weekend

I Know What You Did Last Week: A quick look at how Tennessee's remaining opponents performed this past weekend.

Memphis Tigers

  • Lost 17-56 at home to the Houston Cougars. Memphis is 1-7 overall and 0-5 in C-USA. They beat MTSU 24-17 back on September 18. Any chance a 2-6 team overlooks a 1-7 team because they're wildly better?

Ole Miss Rebels

  • Lost at home 31-51 to the Auburn Tigers. The Rebels are 3-5 overall and 1-4 in the conference.

Vanderbilt Commodores

  • Lost at Arkansas 14-49. Vandy is, like Tennessee, 2-6 overall, but they are 1-4 in the conference.

Kentucky Wildcats

So our opponents for November have a combined overall record of 10-23, and our conference opponents have a combined conference record of 3-13. That's doable, even for a UT team that is 2-6 and winless in the SEC, right? But there's no way we can take anything for granted because all of these teams except Memphis have better resumes than Tennessee does right now.
