Did Tim Tebow help or hurt himself at the Senior Bowl?
- Alligator Army says that Tim Tebow's performance at the Senior Bowl had no real impact on his draft status.
- The Rivalry, Esq. addresses the internet rumor that Pittsburgh will be joining the Big Ten.
- A Sea of Blue says that Kentucky's double-digit win over Vanderbilt has restored the Wildcats' confidence with just a few caveats.
- Maryland blog Testudo Times wonders where the ACC's second most efficient offense was in a 53-62 loss to Clemson. Shakin the Southland, of course, prefers to focus on the Tigers' defense (language alert).
- Hammer and Rails is satisfied with a "dull, workmanlike win" over the Big Ten's worst team, in light of other teams' struggles this weekend.

Alligator Army is pretty deluded.
Tebow looked pretty second tier to me in the Senior bowl.
Still, someone will give him his chance at QB, and his college career has at least earned him that. But I’ll be surprised if we see him on the field next year, and if he does it will be too soon and will most likely be a failure. And he could certainly end up as an H-back or what have you later down the line when/if he fails at QB.

He would have much better odds of success if he changed position, but I don't think he's willing to do that.
H-back or fullback are really his best options. He’d make a great fullback, even though the NFL has somewhat moved away from that position over the last couple decades.

That was a weird post..
I wasn’t going to read it, because as much as I want to think Tebow is a nice guy, I’m really sick of hearing about him. But my opinion was that he didn’t hurt anything because nobody was going to draft him solely as a QB going into last week and that’s probably still true, so I looked to see if that’s what they said.
However, it seemed to, on the one hand, suggest that Tebow has a viable shot at becoming an NFL QB, while on the other hand admitting that he has a ways to go to prove it, yet still take some shots at the folks who think it won’t happen. Seemed contradictory. Note to Alligator Army: See Jason White, Eric Crouch.
I think he’s got a legit fallback option as a clergyman though. I don’t know what denomination he is, but I would think that any church in the state of Florida that is hurting for members could give him a go and let him preach. I think his media presence reminds me a bit of a robot, but he sure likes to talk about Jesus, and he might be really good at it if he puts as much effort into it as he has football.

Yeah, it never hurts your job prospects...
…when you publicly demonstrate that you don’t have any of the skills necessary to succeed at said job.
(heavy sarcasm)
...just apologize for not thanking me.
