Sapp is a safety out of Valdosta, Georgia, who gave a verbal commitment to Tennessee after visiting during the Great Blizzard of '10.  Seen by many as a project, Sapp is will likely need some strength and conditioning, and some coaching prior to making an impact for the Vols on the field.  But the athletic ability is in place in this kid, and the potential is certainly there.

According to Rivals, the final piece of the puzzle for Sapp was the camaraderie shown by the Vols during his official visit.  Despite the snowstorm, the current players all had a great time and presented a very welcoming family atmosphere for the visitors and amongst themselves.  Between Dooley's down-home demeanor and the close-knit bond of the players, Sapp knew he had found more than just a collection of players.  He had a team and a home.
