Running Backs coach
UT is in talks with Chuck Smith to fill the last remaning vacancy as a defensive line coach. Every position has been accounted for except for running backs. Any guesses as to who will take on those responsibilities? Currently, the only coach on staff with any experience coaching that position is HC Derek Dooley; will he take on that role himself?

It doesn't look like he has any experience coaching that position.
I wonder how you can coach a position that you’ve never played? Is there a Coaching Running Backs for Dummies book?
I'm guessing Chaney
will coach the QBs since the whole staff has coached tight ends in the past. With the development of the new crop of QBs, we’ll know very quickly exactly who turned Crompton around.
generally.

That is a head scratcher
Oh well. With the return of Wide Receiver U (fingers crossed), hopefully this won’t be an issue.
How about
Hershel Walker. We already have a Dooley and a Russell. Why not? It’s safer than MMA. :)
Well
I’m gonna go all zany here and say…..
…why not ask LaDanian Tomlinson?
