Yeah
I’m ignoring not having the 20 inches of snow. But that does sound like it would make things even more cozy.

A friendly reminder: catch the early part of the game on 360, because this game is running over.

Not that it matters. I don’t have cable and will be catching it all on 360.

The Tennessee game.

360 always makes me nervous

Hola, gang
Was anyone watching the Gonzaga-Memphis St. game when one of the commentators made an obligatory “Walking in Memphis” reference and the other guy had no clue what he was talking about? Easily the highlight of my day so far.

"It breaks your heart. It is designed to break your heart. The game begins in the spring, when everything else begins again, and it blossoms in the summer, filling the afternoons and evenings, and then as soon as the chill rains come, it stops and leaves you to face the fall alone." When your strategy is to muck things up throughout and then hope your star point guard makes some shots at the end of the game, it happens. Luckily, that guard does make a lot of those late game shots.

Do they keep Downey from supporting in the interior? I mean, I know his height makes him kinda limited for action near the rim, but does SC make a deliberate attempt to keep him away from foul-risky situations?

Tennessee Fans: We win at teh Internet!
Good for him
Mike Griffith (who wrote two really good basketball pieces a week ago) had a thing today about the Vols totally dropping the ball by not hiring him, and why he would’ve been so much better than some of the guys we hired, that I completely and totally disagreed with.
If Tee is a good coach, he’ll prove it at Kentucky, and maybe then we’ll have an opening some day. But to bring him in as an assistant just because he played quarterback on the ’98 team is highly flawed logic.

I think this was a good move. This will be the 10th game Williams has missed, if I read correctly. That’s a pretty big punishment for a first offense, in my opinion. Granted, I would be alright with more, but I am okay with the announcement of him coming back, esp. if it’s a small drug charge.
