The Super Bowl on SB Nation

Happy Super Bowl Sunday, y'all. Whether you're rooting for Peyton Manning and the Colts or going with the numbers in Robert Meachem, Jabari Greer, and Marvin Mitchell and the Saints, SB Nation's got you covered.
For the Colts' perspective, head over to Stampede Blue, and for the New Orleans fan bias, check out Canal Street Chronicles. If you're just interested in the game or the commercials, SB Nation is the place to be, as they have the super story stream. SB Nation has three guys credentialed, including guys from both team blogs and a guy from the mothership.
A few links of note:
- Statistical preview of the game, from Stampede Blue, in three parts
- BigBlueShoe's interview with Peter King, in two parts
- SB Nation's gigantenormongous Super Bowl open thread, for as many communities it can handle before it blows up.
- And finally, SBN's Super Bowl event page that ties everything up into a nice, pretty package.
So have at it, folks. The Super Bowl could really use some viewers.

Lots of love for Peyton Manning! I shouldn’t be that surprised, I guess.

Since I moved to Knoxville, I've sensed a lot of Colts fans in the area.
Manning has had over a decade to convert East Tennessee to Indy fans, and Colts gear is the second most common thing to see after Vols gear.

I'd agree
I hardly see any Titans fans in East TN, people here are Vol fans and Peyton errr Colts fans. I was rooting for the Saints, those fans and that city deserve it. Colts fans have been spoiled by Peyton and having like 8 straight seasons with at least 10 wins. That is ridiculous. Plus I just wanted to see what Bourbon Street looked like if the Saints won.
Neyland Stadium-It goes to eleven.

Sad ending for Peyton
He made one mistake, and he paid for it. I think the game would’ve been different if Pierre Garcon hadn’t dropped that first down in the second quarter. That was really the quarter where the game turned. But, sadness for Peyton aside, you have to be happy for Jabari, Mitchell, and Meach. Hopefully Manning will have more chances to tack some more SB wins onto his legacy. Congrats, New Orleans!

that pick was as much Wayne's fault
if not more so than Manning’s. he was dogging his routes most of the night. never came out of his cut on the pick, and when you see the DB jumping the route you have to get in there and break it up. an incompletion or even a flag is better than a pick. dropped the TD pass at the end and had his mouthpiece stuck in his facemask……head not in the game for some reason…..no like him at all.

IF IF'S AND BUT'S WERE CANDY AND NUTS'
We all would have a Merry Christmas. If Peyton could only pass and catch the ball himself the colts might have won., Oh well, Go Vols !!! Old Smokey

Peyton looked ill
Not a doctor, and never played one on t.v., but Peyton looked ill after they first failed to score a TD and had to go for three. Usually, after things don’t go as planned, he is on the sidelines analyzing and strategerizing, but he was sitting alone on the bench with a sick
look on his face. (too early in the game for that). That said, Brees has an amazing arm and was making superhero passes that I just couldn’t believe.

i don’t remember them showing him do that all game.
i don’t know if it was my TV, but Peyton looked a little sunburned

As an Alabama & Saints fan, this year has been amazing.
And I gotta say, winning the superbowl at the expense of Manning made it that much sweeter. Have to go back to the 92 SEC championship for a sweeter pick-6.
What you're seeing is team spirit. It's like the Holy Spirit, but more powerful.
