Da’Rick Rogers-Bacarri Rambo war of words (and other stuff)10:00 pm February 7, 2010, by Tim Tucker
Oct. 9 continues to loom larger. That’s the date of the Georgia-Tennessee football game, which became the most compelling on UGA’s 2010 schedule the moment Derek Dooley was named the Vols’ coach. Now, there’s the added storyline of Da’Rick Rogers, the Calhoun High wide receiver who broke a 7-month commitment to Georgia to sign with Tennessee last week, potentially playing against the Dogs and encountering UGA safety Bacarri Rambo.
Rogers and Rambo have been going at it a bit on Facebook and Twitter since last week.
It started with a Facebook status update by Rambo, who wrote: "Bacarri Rambo thinks [it] is messed up how all of UGA high school commitments back out on us but I’m telling you now when I catch you on the field I’m going to knock fire from you."
Rogers responded Saturday on Twitter: "Who is Bacarri Rambo?"

He’s got big talk, surely he did something in that game besides chase our receievers from behind. Right?

Actually, I think he scored their only touchdown
Didn’t he?

Bacardi Rambo
btw, i was just looking at his twitter page… georgia people are sending him some really vile messages. just disgusting
Athens, Ga Vol!!!
They like to run their mouths around here, A LOT! Unfortunately, they don’t back it up much. They are more worried about looking good in their red and black. I honestly think that in football they are the most overrated team in the SEC by their own opinion alone. They are still high from embarrassing us two weeks ago in basketball even though they haven’t cared about basketball since Tubby. If we take care of business on February 17th we can remind them where they belong, between South Carolina, Kentucky, and Vandy.
That is what is so bad,
they really think that they are good. Bring up the beatdown(s) they’ve received at the hands of the Vols, and they somehow try to change the subject (now they can talk about the basketball win). I guess they always have gymnastics and baseball!
Why would you want the TV and the stereo on at the same time?
'Cause I like to party.
Do your talking on the field, boys.
It’s not even spring drills yet.
don’t worry about me ha … that’s your choice … last time i checked a big hit =’s you getting knocked out.
wow, that was rough.
What you're seeing is team spirit. It's like the Holy Spirit, but more powerful.
