Alabama’s final six SEC opponents this fall (South Carolina, Ole Miss, Tennessee, LSU, Mississippi State and Auburn) are scheduled to have bye weeks before facing the Tide, so the Tuscaloosa university has asked the league for relief.

Don’t get me wrong, I hate Bama and all, but even I think this is unfair. Of course, this situation could be partially rectified by moving our game to the traditional THIRD WEEK IN OCTOBER!

I’ve not ruled out the possibility that only three of these teams have byes, but Alabama is counting all six teams.
