early Kentucky lovefest on ESPN
but Calipari is showering love on Tennessee. Said that Tennessee is a team of pros, Chism will be in the league. He said Brian Williams will be in the league! ha! Said Hopson is a McDonalds All-American, and he loves Maze and Prince.
I saw that
I wanted to puke. Yes, Chism has turned into a great player, but there’s no comparison talent-wise. And Williams “elite?” I guess he’s just trying to build us up so it makes them look better after we whoop ’em (again).

He's pulled a 180
If you compare what Bill Self said to what John Calipari said after we beat both teams, the difference is stunning. So after giving us zero credit for that win, now he’s hyping up how good we are…but you notice he doesn’t say anything about Pearl.
Mentioned this before somewhere, but Calipari and Stallings go out of their way to compliment each other, and Pearl and Donovan do the same, but there’s no mixing of those two groups. The only good thing I’ve ever heard Cal say about Pearl was that he caught him off guard with the zone in the first game this year.
He can say whatever he wants after we beat them.

A Sea of Blue's preview
is very good, as usual:
As far as current team status is concerned, Tennessee seems to have reached their maximum effectiveness on both sides of the court, while Kentucky seems to still be searching for consistency. That is mostly due to the maturity of the Tennessee team, and the youth of the Wildcats. But time is running out for Kentucky to find their game, and if they don’t find some answers in this game, they will have an extra day to ponder the matter at home.
This game, to me, looks like a critical moment in Kentucky’s development pre-tournament. They are facing a top 15 team in a neutral site with solid fan support from both sides, something they will run into in the NCAAs after the second or third round. This is a game between two foes who know each other, and who are well matched at every position, including the bench. If the Wildcats lose here, we may have to revise our high expectations for the NCAA tournament.
Kentucky is out of time. This is one of their final exams before the Big Dance, and failing this one will bode ill for UK’s tournament prospects. But if the ’Cats succeed, and then follow that success up with a win on Sunday, it could indicate that Kentucky is finally ready for the Tournament.
No prediction today. This is a pick-em game for me, even though the Wildcats are favored by 2.5 points.
Thanks.
I had stopped watching from all the Kentucky loving.

Lunardi updated his Bracketology
he moved all the 4 seeds except for Tennessee up to the 3 line, including 2 teams that lost early in their tournaments (Villanova, and Pittsburgh)
I'm sure it's not as bad as it sounds.

not that i can find
Iverson and Maze are friends, and their physical characteristics are so similar that Iverson can pass Maze off as himself.
“When we are together, somebody will come up and ask for his autograph, and he’ll say, ‘No, I’m not Allen; he is’ and then point to me,” said Maze, a native of Washington, D.C. “They believe it every time.”

Kentucky keeps a 6 point lead.
After a sweet block by Chism, Vols have like a 4-2 break and a turnover is quickly sent up to Cousins for a jam. That’s just what we didn’t need, a score there would have probably got even more in Cousin’s head.
