Tennessee curlers earned second place at College Nationals (Division 3). UT has now had curlers earn medals at both nationals and regionals for at least three years running.
And by all appearances, curling will be a registered club sport at UT beginning in the fall, making Tennessee the first college in the South to have an official curling club.

Is that the official hoodie
of UTK Curling? If so, where can I get one?
We don't have official gear yet, but I'll keep that in mind.
That’s just a hoodie I got on clearance from the bookstore a year ago or so. However, we are planning on making up curling attire of some form. If that’s something that people might like to get, I can let you know once we have something. That probably won’t be until the fall, though.
However, I don’t want to use RTT as a platform for shilling curling stuff. It becomes a slippery slope for other ventures as well, so I’ll have to figure a different way around that.

It would be so cool...
to have a Univ. of TN Curling hoodie!
"It breaks your heart. It is designed to break your heart. The game begins in the spring, when everything else begins again, and it blossoms in the summer, filling the afternoons and evenings, and then as soon as the chill rains come, it stops and leaves you to face the fall alone." A. Bartlett Giamatti
Note to self:
Curling gear is cool. I’ll remember that.

You seriously expecting massive sales of curling-related apparel?
I mean, it is cool – especially because of the Winter Olympics and all, but
shilling for a few shillings from UT culring apparel isn’t going to be a huge breach of ethics.

No, I'm not.
We were going to create some team apparel – perhaps a t-shirt and a hoodie design. I just hadn’t though about offering the opportunity for non-curlers to buy it.
No, obviously there isn’t a serious market out there for UT curling stuff.

You can totally get the Norway pants in Tennessee orange and white.
(I want 5% for that suggestion.)
