Brackets, brackets, brackets!
Around SB Nation's ACC, Big Ten, and SEC blogs today:
- The Only Colors calculates NCAA Tournament odds based on the Bradley-Terry rating system, a sort of RPI substitute.
- With Boston College left out of postseason play, BC Interruption takes the opportunity to create its own bracket pitting the last ten BC basketball teams against one another to crown a champion.
- Maize n Brew is also having its own fun with alternative brackets, creating a tournament to identify "the bitterest college fanbase."

apologies in advance for the threadjack joel
but i wanted this up top to insure immediate feedback.
folks, i need a definitive judgment on a matter of utmost importance today.
i’m going to the open practice today, and hoping to get as close to the team as possible. i have 4 UT shirts in my possession up here in RI. 2 of them are orange, but both explicitly say football on them. i then have one navy blue and one gray shirt with a non-sport-specific UT logo on them.
what’s the call here? i want to be as orange as possible, because i feel like orange will be at a premium up here, and when i attend the game(s) in the nose bleeds im definitely going orange. but if i’m trying to be courtside at a practice and autograph sniping, etc., is the football part disrespectful enough to merit not going with orange?
i submit this to the judgment of the most authoritative and respectable body of UT fans i know.

Gray's good.
That saves two orange shirts – one for each game this weekend!
The Navy blue one would work well on Monday as support for the Ladies. It’s not baby blue, but beggars/choosers and so on.
yeah, georgetown's presence kinda kill the navy

Obama fills out a bracket:

He picks Georgetown over UT in the second round,,
but hey at least we get there
U can also view the bracket instead of the video here:

No surprise there
Obama is big on the power of the ACC & the Big East.

Btw
It’s kinda nice to have a president who knows wtf he’s talking about with regards to sports — two years ago there was a lot of coverage around my parts of him visiting the UNC Men’s Basketball team, and he didn’t look completely lost, and certainly didn’t sound completely lost.
