I blame rebounding in the first half more than the missed FTs.
Hopson and Williams both just aren’t good from the line. This happens. MSU’s frontcourt domination is the reason that Hopson and Williams had to make those shots in the first place.

Butler can handle this team. They could handle the Vols as well.
We played well today too
Just not quite well enough. Have to learn to make free throws in pressure situations. And that goes for everybody who isn’t graduating.

Was thinking something for Cam on the final shot, but hey. We did outrebound them in the second half, but just couldn’t make it matter. That game had almost no margin for error, and they were just closer to perfect than us.

I really thought Brian Williams had the offensive board on Scotty's miss
He was our player of the game today, and he was just inches from putting us up 2 on the putback. I hope he keeps playing like this next year. But we’re gonna miss Maze, Pajamas, and Weezy.

I am really proud of this team
I honestly think I feel worse for the guys than I do for myself. They really and truly gave their all for Tennessee and deserve so much credit for coming together and playing with passion.
