Scout.com: Preview 2010 - SEC Quarterback Rankings
As in "12th" in the SEC. Woo!

UT's quarterback situation was ranked 10th in Lindy's
ahead of Ole Miss and Vanderbilt. It’s nothing we haven’t seen before, since after the UCLA game last year I think we all thought Crompton was the worst QB in the league.
John McEnroe voice: "You CANNOT Be Serious!"
Garcia at USC as the #3 QB in the league? Really? The list lost all credibility for me there.
BTW, Will, I think Crap-ton was the worst QB in the league until Kiffin figured out that he could make about 5 different throws on the run and Jonathan turned into Captain Crap-tastic.
Glad to kid is getting a chance in the NFL but that shows the lack of talent at QB in the lower echelons in the NFL more than anything positive about Crompton, in my view. But somebody saw something in him, so good luck JC. If he does well in the NFL, I’ll apologize.
Who's better than him?
McElroy, Mallett, ….? 3rd can also mean he’s better than the other guys.

I just remember Spurrier tossing his ball cap for a record number with Garcia in the QB role
Maybe he’s better now, but it may also be that the rest of the SEC is really down.
I’d put the kid from Alabama ahead of him – manages the game really well. I’d also put the kid from Auburn ahead of Garcia. We’ll see how it goes.
It's only preseason navel gazing
Could be right, could be just no one has any evidence to the contrary. Just cuz some preseason scribe says it’s so doesn’t make it such.
Here’s to hoping Sims surprises a bunch of people next this year.
