Wes Brown's Knees Vs. 20 Yards For 25 Years: Best Plays of 2009
Wes Brown's knees just keep chugging along, beating Miracle For Naught 138-13, and Montario Hardesty's 20 Yards For 25 Years beat Stonewall Jackson 87-41, so the Bracket's first semi-final is between Wes Brown's Knees and 20 Yards For 25 Years.

Hard to root against the latter play
I was there, and it was quite the ending. But. . . Wes Brown, man.

This is what it's come to around here:
a play to beat Kentucky vs. a play to put Vanderbilt away as two of our semifinalists.
For the above reason though – the play against Kentucky was an OT game-winner, while the Wes Brown play was just feel-good (although it was the best kind of feel-good) – I think Hardesty’s run is the choice here. The size of that hole is still unbelievable.
we beat Kentucky every year
and we didn’t even need a TD to win. That was just a safe play to set up a field goal but it busted open for a TD.
However, that Wes Brown TD was special. His last play in Neyland, he carries a tackler into the endzone for a TD, that was awesome!
I had an awesome seat to experience "Wes Brown's Knees"
10 yard line, 12 rows up, behind the UT bench aka the heart of the students. We were going bananas.
Also, majors kudos to whomever was calling that play for ESPN, because he immediately placed it in the larger context of it being Wes’ final play at home. Way to be on your toes, broadcaster.
If I hit a hole-in-one on this grand slam the dominoes will fall like a house of cards. Checkmate.
Well...
One is a fantastic run, the other something out of a Hollywood movie about the triumph of will and an indomitable spirit.
I would be really surprised if Wes Brown didn’t win the best play of in the history of RTT bracket thingys.
Speaking of that...
You guys should completely do a best plays in the history of RTT, bracket thing.
Or do one for each of those seasons
And then have the winners square off against one another for the right to be called “Ultimate UT Football Play in Rocky Top Talk History”!
inthuseeazim. i has it. [/lolcats]
