He's an undersized center, but stil bigger than Hall.
So the roster might look something like this:
Goins, Golden, Bone
Hopson, McRae, McBee
Tatum, Woolridge
Harris, Hall, Maymon
Williams, Fields
We all know what Harris’ spot will be, but it will be interesting to see how Golden and McRae fit into the lineup.
Good grief, we're deep
no room for the vaunted Baby Pearl in the rotation?

I'll believe Woolridge is ready for a spot on the second rotation when I see it.
I think Baby Pearl gets some time at the 3 when we decide to go big.

Pearl would have to play 3 if he wants to see any time
he might be up for it…
I expect Woolridge to improve. I haven’t seen it, but supposedly he looked pretty good in the RockyTop League FWIW. It would be tremendous for this team if he’s good enough to be a reliable backup at 3
That took me a second.
I’m in football recruiting mode, so I read 6’-9" center as the guy who snaps the ball.
First thought: Dang he’s tall for a center.
Second thought (once I started reading the article): 230 lbs.?!?!?
Good stuff, that.
shame on you, both ;) Basketball IS a major sport at UT - thanks to Bruuuuce. Can we care year round?
COEXISTence is difficult when core beliefs are mutually exclusive and those on the other side keep blowing up buildings, people, etc.

Sure.
I’m just a very single-track mind kind of a person.
And in the larger picture, I’m not really a basketball fan. I just don’t think of it off the top of my head.
I had the winkie so you'd know I was kidding instead of having to assume it (which is usually understood)
What can we do to get you to be a basketball fan?
How about 10 fans at the next curling match?

Heh. I totally missed the winkie.
Look at it this way: I’m a fan of the Vols b-ball teams. Just not the sport in the meta sense. Izzat ok?

You’re right. Basketball is gaining ground on football. I found it interesting that the UNC Wilmington guy went on and on about how he’d been a Tennessee basketball fan for a long time. The longer we can keep up that national reputation, the more inroads that sport will make.
I’ve often considered the wisdom of putting that silhouette of the QB on the logo. We’re not to the point of replacing it with a jump shooter, but still, that particular image is becoming increasingly questionable as a proper representation of the institution’s athletics.

Put a headband on him.

Hello ladies. Look at your man, now back to me, now back at your man, now back to me. Sadly, he isn't me.
lol
I love the idea of a QB with a headband.

He set a school record for blocked shots at UNC Wilmington and is excited about being a role player
"Coach (Bruce) Pearl is a great coach, and he’s explained my role to me,’’ Fields said. "I’ll be in there to block shots, rebound and provide depth on the front line. I was interested as soon as I got a call from them.’’
