Bryce Brown Not Returning to UT

Jimmy Hyams just reported on Sports Talk (WNML) that Bryce Brown informed Coach Dooley he was not returning to UT. One would think this took place on campus in the coach's office where both men could get a certain measure of each other.  That was not the case.  According to Hyams, Brown informed Coach Dooley of his intentions by text.  Wow. 

Now I'm a Gen Y'r and sure I love to text but really? Text?  That seems totally inappropriate.  What do you think?  Was this a generational thing or was he avoiding confrontation?  

Either way I wish things could've turned out differently with Bryce Brown. I wish him the best wherever he lands.  He might want to lay off the texting though.
