NCAA Football 11 Online Dynasty for Xbox 360

PrintSince this site is sponsored by the game I was wondering if anybody would be interested in a Rocky Top Talk Online Dynasty. I could be the commissioner if I need to be or anybody else could be if they wanted. Comment on this post if you're interested or have ideas on format or how it should be done. My thoughts are maybe an all-SEC dynasty with one person taking each team in the SEC. I think that would be really entertaining and competitive. EDIT: I would like to play on All-American difficulty with no time savers allowed. For those who don't know, time savers are the paid material from EA that allows you to buy an extra pipeline state, have a recruiting advisor, etc.

If we get some more people that would be a good time. I guess we draw numbers to see who gets who if we go with the All-SEC dynasty.

I assume that
it would be hard to get people to take the lesser teams so yeah we would have to figure out a way to determine who gets who. I’m open to any ideas. Tell anybody you know who you think would be interested and we’ll see how many people we can get.

in the EDSBS one, never understood the mentality that would rather glide along with a powerhouse instead of challenging themselves.

I might be able to convince my brother to play, too. For now I’d pencil me in, but not him. Love the idea of playing on All-American, I can’t stand the Varsity nonsense where you can just run 4 Verticals with Florida and bomb passes over most defenses.
Could I suggest, too, that we promote “Good Sportsmanship” rules to help make the game more of simulation football than anything else? So don’t always go for 2-point conversions, onside kicks? Promote good coaching, so don’t go for it on 4th-and-2 from your own 28 yard line while nursing a 6 point 4th quarter lead.

Though I’ve not played anything but the Demo of NCAA 11 to date; I’ll definitely want to get caught up on the teams and feel before I start my Dynasty.. I don’t mind being a non-Florida, Alabama, Tennessee, Georgia (definately not Georgia) type team, either, since I’m not sure if I’ll be able to be around.

Can I request that
We play with three penalties toned down to like 15? Holding, Facemasks, and Clipping all happen way too often, imo. Are we playing with Injuries on? I’d personally like to not play with ‘em, and take official injury reports into our week-by-week depth chart. Ie if Masoli gets a broken leg IRL, he gets a broken leg in-game so you can’t use him until (if) he’s fixed.

toning down the penalties but I’d personally prefer having injuries on just because I don’t know how fast we would be moving. If we get to 6 people, I’ll start it.

Fair point.
I’ve just heard that injuries happen waaay too often in this version of NCAA. I don’t play with ‘em generally, so I wouldn’t know, though.
