alternate versions of Rocky Top
we all love the classic version by the Osborne Brothers, but it is a little sweeter to have a few variations (spice of life and all). they're not all zingers, but sometimes we enjoy an extra cringe from those who simply don't understand. i'll list artist and album after the jump.
Shaelaurel / Daffodil - Hickory Project / Icy Roads - Chet Atkins / Super Hits - Flying Burrito Bros. / Relix's Best of -Jack Daniel's Original Silver Cornet Band / On Tour Across America - David Grisman / Retrograss - Les Ober & Joey Welz / Harmony Cats - Arizona Rythm Riders / Rythms to Remember (this one's scary) - Nitty Gritty Dirt Band / Live Americana Masters - Mickey Gilley / Black Mountain Rag - Nashville Fiddlers / Rocky Top - Bobby Osborne & The Rocky Top Express / Try A Little Kindness - UncleF*cker / Usurpers of The Tradition ( this one RAWKS ).
there's more, believe it . several marching band versions (including PoSL). still searching for a reggae version (there is a reggae version of EVERYTHING). have fun with them all.
don't forget "Dooley" by The Dillards for your Gameday playlist, as well.
Go Big Orange!

Charlie Daniels has a pretty sweet version too. Number 13: http://www.rhapsody.com/charlie-daniels/live-from-iraq
Neyland Stadium-It goes to eleven.
Thanks for links so we can play at work...
The COEXIST bumper sticker is ridiculous. How are people supposed to get along when one side is flying planes into tall buildings or wearing sweater vests full of C4 and nails? The faiths are MUTUALLY EXCLUSIVE.
that Charlie Daniels cover kicks ass.
The best thing you can do for your children is to love their mother. John Wooden
for an untraditional traditional
there is a sweet version of “The Tennessee Waltz” by Sam Cooke.
