Frazier Capitalizes on Bray's Mismanagement; Takes it to the Crib
I'm vacationing this week, so we have guest posters doing the morning Talking Points. Thanks to those folks, including kidbourbon, who's got the honors today.

- Tennessee played itself in a game of football this Saturday, and while the closed-ish nature of the practice (including the non-disclosure of stats from the scrimmage) make it difficult to put much of a spin on the outing, the consensus appears to be that the defense struck back from previous poor outings to take the football back to the crib -- a description which always cracks me up -- and just generally force a bunch of turnovers. It's always difficult to be too excited about a scrimmage because one side of the ball will excel at the direct expense of the other side. This is a zero-sum game at its very core. But am I wrong to maybe want the offense to keep its positive momentum going from previous scrimmages? Just a thought. I know, I know...I'm so picky.
- On the quarterbacking front, it appears that Matt Simms has pretty well solidified his starting spot as Tyler Bray continues to struggle managing the offense. Oh, and Matt Simms is just wired man.
- Promising Freshman WR Justin Hunter, who has previously drawn praise from players and coaching staff alike, has been pulled out of practice temporarily until he is cleared by this "NCAA Clearinghouse," which you may have heard of before. Sounds more like a formality than a huge concern, but you'd much rather see the guy out on the field getting reps.
- Barbara Dooley is set to speak at the Quarterback Club this year. Hey, Precious, how's that gag order working out for you?

I used to long for the substitute teachers as a break from the intensity and quality of regular schoolin' - Not this time. Thanks, kidburbon.
The COEXIST bumper sticker is ridiculous. How are people supposed to get along when one side is flying planes into tall buildings or wearing sweater vests full of C4 and nails? The faiths are MUTUALLY EXCLUSIVE.
My pleasure
I’da gone a bullet or two deeper but for my fumbling around with the FanPost buttons. Oh well…the scrimmage was the main talking point, and I at least got that.
...just apologize for not thanking me.
