Are You Smarter Than A Computer?
So, kidbourbon brought it up, and places like AccuScore already do it, so I thought: heck, why not? Why not simulate ten first-weeks using my copy of NCAA Football 2011 and see what the Computer picked out for upset specials and scores and all that who-jazz. Now, I'll go ahead and note: these numbers are very crude, especially the "confidence" percentage, which just represents how many times the team actually won across all ten simulations.
But I digress. I selected a few -- 15, in fact -- opening week games to keep track of. The Tennessee game, of course, the big battles, and a few smaller ones that caught my interest. Care to play pick'em against my XBox? I wonder who, over the course of the year, might do better..? (Speaking of which, I guess I should try to enter my XBox into RTT's College Pick'em thingie. If only I knew how ... ::hint hint hint::
