Vols Sr DE Ben Martin was injured again today at practice. Dooley said it might have been an Achilles. They're evaluating him now.

And so it begins. John Adams tweets that Martin left the field on crutches. Defensive end is, apart from probably wide receiver, one of the deepest positions for the Vols, but still. Here's hoping Martin's just tweaked something and that it's not serious.

But he has a redshirt year, which is nice. Still pretty hopeful about a rotation of Walker, Williams, Jackson, and Bohannon at DE, and that’s even before you throw the freshmen in. I thought Williams was extremely impressive in the O&W game. Thoughts and prayers to Ben Martin.
