Who's headed down to Baton Rouge?
Taking a group down for the game, leaving early Friday morning. Actually rather excited about the Vols chances this weekend, and hope the trip to Death Valley is worth the 9+ hour drive. Wondering what the RTT community's road trip participation is like.
Anyone know where we can greet the team as they enter the stadium?
Any ideas on good places to visit before kickoff?
Still lots of hotel vacancies, suggestions?
Also have 2 extra tickets still available, 19 rows from the field section 404, right next to the band. Can let them go at face value ($70) to any vol fans interested...

Some Tips
greeting the team: It’s a short distance from where the visitors buses park to the entrance. You’ll want to be on the ESE corner of the stadium (Look for your equipment truck). Based on the start time, y’all will probably get off the bus well before noon. (after that go back to the hill on the north end and watch the band come down)
Hotels: anything on Acadian or college is a very short distance from campus.
I hate 2:30 games, but for friday night I recommend The Chimes on highland at the north gates for drinking and the TJ Ribs on Acadian for a good meal (go see billy cannon’s heisman)

I hope the Big orange Nation is out in force Saturday, and i am mentally preparing for all those “Tiger Bait” heckles and some damn good food.
