Coach Dooley is a son of the South.

Watched this at a bar.
Some guy was hitting on this really cute girl for a couple of hours prior – both Michigan fans. After a bit of this, some other dude shoehorned in on guy #1 – and the girl was effectively stonewalling him (not that he noticed). Guy #1 is in good shape, right?
Guy #1 got her number, but put it in while watching the game and completely failed to ask her if she wanted to get together at some point.
Moral of the story: finish the drill.

Simulated Gameday Experience - just like the real thing, only we have smoke machines.
Anybody remember Western Kentucky?
While that was an awesome win, and I admit to being too conservative at 45-10, it was still just a glorified scrimmage, at 50-0.
Our kick return game, which got a lot of work, still needs a lot of work on both punts and KOs. Muffed punt, no coverage on the gunners, uncertainty by the returners. Bray looked a little lost, although he handled the V formation nicely at the end. And the O Line did well but also had a ton of missed assignments – fortunately, UT Martin was so bad that it didn’t matter. We were horrible on third down.
That’s the nitpicking, because I don’t want to read about us smoking Oregon and spanking Florida like disobedient children, based on a Western Kentucky style win. Oregon had their New Mexico-style scrimmage at 72-0, so both teams have their opener next weekend.
That being said, Go Vols! Awesome win. Way to go Coach Dooley (and Coach Wilcox)!
