Anyone up for tailgating with a couple friendly Ducks?

We are super excited to be heading to Knoxville and the chance to see a ball game in Neyland.

Anyone up for hosting a couple Ducks for pre-game tailgate on Saturday? We want to see how you guys get down in the SEC.

We will supply BEER and general laughs -- guaranteed. We've got mad respect for UT and those kick ass checkerboard end zones. Need someone to teach us the words to Rocky Top too. And we can revel in our mutual hatred of Lane Kiffin.

Look forward to partying with you guys. Who's up for it? Let us know the coordinates and we are in...

Holla.

Thanks for the invite!

Just some helpful hints

First of all, ‘technically’, and I mean that in the loosest term possible, UT is a dry campus. That being said, usually as long as you aren’t flaunting the alcohol, once you get to the tailgate, you are usually fine. Of course, I don’t know if any of the KPD will take time to inform any Oregonians about this very, very strict rule. =P

If you want, I’ll talk to the guy that organizes our tailgate to see if he’d be interested in hosting a couple of the enemy for a couple of hours. We’ve usually set up on Frat Row, so the environment will not be lacking at all.

Take care on your cross country trip!

I plan on living forever. So far, so good.

On a related note:

just don’t look like a student. The police seem to be a little blinder to the khaki-and-polo crowd holding brown bottles than to students.

Yes

I will be landing in Knoxville tomorrow around 4:45 pm, and my buddy I’m cruising with will not be arriving until 10:45, so I have quite some time to kill—any suggestions?

Also, I’d love to join and tailgate with some Vols if you’d have me, and I will most certainly have beer/Jager/Everclear/God knows what else in tow for all to enjoy.

In that case, definitely keep that stuff under some Coke bottles in your cooler.

The alky patrol tends to be skittish about potentially getting crosswise with boosters, which is why the ‘dry campus’ thing gets very lax on gamedays for select people. I don’t think that’ll be a problem for those in green and yellow.

If I had a tailgating spot, I'd love to host some Ducks

But alas, I pretty much grab a bev or two at a friendly establishment (normally Gus’s) and head to the stadium.

Ahhhhhh, hey what about my cheering?!! Ahhhhhhhh - Swiperboy

AeroVol!

We’re in for tailgate on Frat Row. Bring it on. If it’s cool with your buddy, shoot me an email with the details: alistairduck@gmail.com

Thanks to all for the heads up on local liquor laws….we’ll (try our best) to keep it on the DL.
