Week 2 Computer Predictions
Last week the computer went 11 - 4 with a confidence rating of 79% (based on my own magical formula!) and really dropped the ball with Washington vs BYU, whom the Computer said would never ever beat ever at all! This week featured several entertaining games between Oregon and Tennessee but fairly mellow stuff overall, though it should be noted that my XBox really likes Auburn over Mississippi State tonight, with the Bulldog's lone win an 18-15 Overtime Victory.

Game 1: 34-24 Oregon Oregon Intercepted and ran back a pass 94 yards late in the fourth quarter.
Game 2: 42-21 Tennessee Vols led 28-11 at Halftime. Oregon had 5 Turnovers.
Game 3: 31-30 Tennessee Matt Simms threw 6(!) Interceptions and Oregon led 30-7 in the second quarter. Tennessee scored on passes of 71, 35, and 52 and held Oregon scoreless in the second half.
Game 4: 25-19 Oregon (3OT) Daniel Lincoln hit a 53-yard field goal (hah!) with 1:51 left to tie it at 13 , but Oregon managed to score in the 3rd OT and Tennessee did not.
Game 5: 24-10 Tennessee Tennessee led 24-0 at the half and held Oregon to 205 yards of total offense at to 5-18 on third down. Tennessee was 8-16 on 3rd down.
Game 6: 41-24 Tennessee Matt Simms broke open a 24-24 tie in the fourth with a 57 yard run. Heh. Oh, and Tennessee apparently can run 98 plays to oregon’s 70. (51 Passing, 47 Rushing. WTF!)
Game 7: 23-6 Oregon Oregon outscored Tennessee 20-3 in the second half and held Tennessee to 1-15 on 3rd Down Conversions.
Game 8: 36-10 Oregon Tennessee scored the first 10 points and had 378 yards of offense but were 4-17 on 3rd Downs and Oregon was 5/5 for TDs in the Red Zone.
Game 9: 24-14 Oregon (OT) Oregon scored with under 1:30 left to send the game to OT and Tennessee couldn’t get into the end zone after Oregon did. QB play was horrible and both Thomas and Simms got injured. Oregon was 34% passing, Tennessee was 30%.
Game 10: 31-12 Oregon Tennessee couldn’t run, turned the ball over 5 times, and gave up a Defensive and Special Teams TD. /Cue Worst Case Scenario.

I will give my North Carolina for Tennessee Today. Apparently.
