I don't really know how to put this tactfully: last week was as boring as you like for the poll. Very little movement across the board, and our ballot certainly reflects that. Oklahoma State rises to the top of that 2.5ish tier (I kind of think Boise's in their own little world at this point) on the strength of basically beating Kansas by whatever score they cared (it was 56-7 at the half, and I have little doubt that they could've topped 100 had they wanted to), plus it's just weird having Clemson there, you know? At least they didn't lose to Boston College, but they took care of business.

Further down, we have our first sighting of the head-to-head police, with Arizona State jumping Illinois. Yes, I know. Blame I_S for convincing me to do it, but I hold no qualms with doing that so I feel better about that random morass of teams in 13-15. Maybe I'm just heavily overranking one team to feel better about not overranking another 2-3 teams.

I can easily be talked into trolling ranking Houston over Texas, if y'all want me to do that. I've still got until tomorrow morning.

And yes, Memphis will appear in this poll as soon as they appear in the SEC, which is to say never. Give or take an eon or two.

It boils down to this: caught and busted by the head-to-head police, and trolling hard in the paint. Thanks, everyone.
