For what it's worth.
I don’t know if I’m that irritated. Simms might be going up against two great defenses, but he has played horribly. He’s not a threat to lead Tennessee down the field, he’s a threat to “Hey, maybe he’ll throw accurately on 3rd down. Probably not, but.” and is good for 1 or 2 bad turnovers a game, historically.

What's the reasoning for that?
That’s just dumb in my opinion. The game is out of reach. Even with Bray the odds were slim to pull off a win. Why in the world do you blow the redshirt this late in the season?
Getting ready for South Carolina?
At this point, the film on Simms is enough to scheme effectively against him. Also, if he got hurt prior to Bray returning, it’d be nice to have some experience for Worley.

It was the South Carolina game that he got pulled which was supposed to be the last we ever saw of him. If you’re going to burn Worley’s redshirt, might as well get him ready to start. That interception by Simms at this stage of his career is just totally unacceptable and tells me he just can’t play at this level.

Locked on the TE, waited too long to release the ball and then threw it behind him towards the defender instead of away from the defender. With his experience that is just terrible.

that he was very overrated coming out of High School. He’d be much better off, and probably much happier in the FCS or D2.

Zach Rogers was the only injury we heard about, and we haven’t heard much about it.
on the minus side,
without Bray, South Carolina is an uphill battle, Arkansas is a pipe dream, and Vandy has at least the possibility of upset

and if our run game continues to improve. We’ve run the ball relatively well against the two best run defenses in college football.

They are a one dimension team with a mediocre defense… certainly no better than us with Bray.

I can’t take beat downs where a fifth year senior from an NFL pedigree is just killing any chance you have of being competitive in the game.

While watching the game I have come to question my own sanity. The amount of reporters actively defending Dooley from our fanbase is…well…scary.
That said I have to think Simms is done as a starter for us. I think the no throw was to keep the score from getting any worse while still getting Worley some on the road hard defense and crowd noise experience.
Let’s face it, none of us came in to the game thinking we would win. And Simms for sure didn’t help matters, nor is he even playing as well as he did last year.
Our worse enemy on the field is not the other teams, its ourselves. We lose our momentum after the half, and as soon as we get hit we lay down. We have a great team with a huge glass jaw. Ironically our fanbase isn’t helping. The more we demonize the teams leadership, the more this team will struggle.

Watching Wisconsin's offense is kinda like backyard football.
Where the receivers completely abandon any route they had previously, while Russell Wilson runs around the pocket juking guys out.

I don't get these fans' logic
There’s no one going to do much differently with this roster at this point and no one of note is going to take this job as it currently sits. Dooley is our guy and might as well get over some of the big league head coaching learning curve while rebuilding the roster so that this staff is ready to go when the roster is in another year or so.
Now Simms, that’s another matter bless his heart.

I don’t worry about redshirts. We have to play the best players, and players that will help us win the football game. He had a good week of practice. We didn’t have a good 2nd and 3rd quarter at QB. Hold the ball, get sacked. Hold the ball, get an INT. Can’t complete third downs. Hoping to throw, but Marlin fumbled and then we got pinned deep, so we didn’t get to see what he can do
