Black jerseys?

It’s not a sign of disrespect to the normal colors. It’s one of the very few expressions of fun that the NCAA allows anymore. It’s something that gets them excited and keeps them motivated at the end of a brutal stretch. (I know, I know, if they’re not motivated already /rabblerabble.)

Besides, I think it’d be pretty cool to have orange and black on Halloween weekend, especially for home games. That last one was a lot of fun. Setting aside the win – just watching the students in costumes in the cold rain was great. One of the few times that I’ve seen people honestly have fun at a game regardless of the on-field result.

Also, it’d be kinda cool to have 1930s throwback black jerseys (black with orange power T on the chest).

However, I still say we should wear orange and let South Carolina should wear black, then they should return the favor next year. Seriously, we always play on Halloween weekend. One of our primary colors is orange. One of their primary colors is black. Why has this not happened?

I did love our black jerseys though, and we crushed them that night so that’s a plus.

 Besides the game(news flash we are picked to lose anyway). By the way i agree with “@tbrayvol8 Just to clear things up we want our fans to wear black”. I always wear orange, but not this saturday i will opt for the black and orange. I would prefer to keep the black jerseys for Halloween night home games. Heavily leaning toward us orange them black. That last one would require the dreaded orange pants(not Dooley’s). Maybe a poll with the different ideas.
