GoVOLS Wins the Tennessee Volunteer Gear in Three OTs (or something like that)

Wow, lots of drama in this week's Rocky Top Talk 2011 Pick 'Em Pool. GoVOLS broke a three-way tie for first with his 13-38 UT-Arkansas prediction and therefore wins the $10 gift certificate from Gameday Depot. GoVOLS, watch for a confirmation email with instructions on how to claim your prize.

There's another $10 gift certificate up for grabs this week and a $50 gift certificate for the entire season, so keep playing. Grayhound remains in the lead, but he's only up by five total points.

Very Brief interview with MemphisPete

RTT: We are not bowing to your pressure to specifically track your progress each week. Care to comment?

MP: Memphispete doesn’t understand why RTT fails in its journalistic duty to track the rising stars of the pool. From 110 to the Top 25. That’d be like the Vols transformation next year in football – not quite worst to first, but definitely worth mentioning. ESPN highlights, baby!

RTT: We admit that we doubted your brash claims that you’d make the top 20. And, we note that you still haven’t made it with a couple of weeks left in the season. Do you seriously think you can climb over the remaining competitors in your way? These guys are good.

MP: Still climbing, baby, still climbing. 35-28-24 No disrespect to them, but memphispete is better than good. memphispete has always had his doubters and he has always over come them.
