BlogPoll Final, Final Week Edition
First off: there are no right answers. I'm a fan of looking at wins - hence, why Oklahoma State gets #2 here. I know the argument for Alabama, too; both are right and neither are right, and that's what happens when you have a system that's designed to pair two teams together in a single game and at least three teams who deserve to be there. That's how it goes.
Further downpoll, Wisconsin and Michigan State get a nice bump for playing two very even games. Oklahoma looks kind of weird between them now, but I'll live with it. Houston and VT get spiked, Clemson comes back, and the 21-25 includes teams who have lost to Kansas and UAB. Remember, the bottom of the poll is where bad teams go to die.

Watching a terrible basketball game on ESPN2...
St. John’s at Detroit Mercy
Detroit may have the ugliest uniforms I have ever seen.
ah... apparently they are throwbacks
They’re naming their court for Dick Vitale today and decided to wear them.

Poking around SBN
I found the Big East Coast Bias ballot, which is completely full of things I hate. Conference winners were bumped 4-8 spots, which is possibly defensible, but every conference CG loser was dropped 11+ spots. Yes, Michigan State was dropped from #13 to #24 after losing by 3 to their #7 team. Oklahoma was dropped from #9 to #22 after losing to the #3 Cowboys. Georgia was dropped from #10 to #21 after losing to the #1 Tigers. How is any of this defensible?
I can roll with VT dropped 14 spots, but them being #4 to begin with? Yeesh.
Heel for school, Vol for life!
Bolts, Preds, Canes (childhood team, home state team, hometown team). Canes mini-STH. Southern hockey solidarity!

Well, when your own conference's CG loser isn't anywhere near the top 25...
(or any teams that could reasonably pass as the CG loser, in this case).
