• Brian Williams, who apparently at some point lost a decent amount of weight, may be sidelined in the upcoming game against the Fighting Gamecocks of South Carolina.  I will say this: if the big fella is to miss a game, I would respectfully opine that a good game for him to miss would be against a team that lost to Auburn.  By 15.  In basketball.  At home.
  

• Lots of happenings after Junior Day, which was apparently this weekend (who knew?).  I could hit y'all with a veritable plethora of links...a smorgasbord of linkage, so to speak.  And I will.   But, unfortunately, I couldn't find a single one that I could link without the dreaded ($) symbol.  Sorry.  Anyway, here goes.  Jonathan Bullard from Shelby, North Carolina was impressed by his visit.  Marten Aiken of Bamberg South Carolina also left with a warm fuzzy feeling.  The warm fuzzy feelings didn't stop there, but extended to Tailback Beniquez Brown of Florence Alabama and Justin Meredith of Anderson, South Carolina. And I'll stop there, because this could go on for a while, and finish up with a round up of Junior Day goings on.

• And, finally, staying with recruiting, let the record reflect that Derek Dooley does not prefer recruiting kids who like having hot sauce flung all over their face.  Seems reasonable, I guess. (old vid...still cracks me up.)
