I need some input, guys!

I'm able to take part in a "Final Four" contest  with a relatively small number of contestants.  The winner gets an iPad.

Here are the rules:

On or about 04/04/2011, the Sponsor will determine a single winner by the following criteria

  • 1. Record in three game pick-off
  • 2. Total points scored in NCAA Championship game without regard to being over or under the final number of points.
  • 3. After items 1 & 2, if a tie remains, XXXXX will conduct a random drawing of those participants who tied for first place.

Will you tell me who you would pick in the three games and total points?  I would like to make use of the wisdom of many.

THANKS!

I'd find a name for XXXXX.

Dudes with names like that are sneaky. He may just keep the iPad.

Formerly 'snail. You get used to it after a while.

Now that you mention it...

…he IS a little crafty. Nah, he’s a pretty good guy, and he’s really working at building his business in some pretty innovative ways.

I like Butler over UConn for the title

I know we’ve been saying this for weeks now, but there’s just no way VCU can keep up this ridiculous (eight percentage points higher than the regular season) from three for the sixth (or seventh) straight game in the fourth different arena. I’m pulling for the Rams, but it has to end sometime…right? Plus – and it’s a fascinating thing to say – Butler will be the least “we’re just happy to be here!” team in the Final Four.

Having seen them both, I just think UConn is a little bit better than Kentucky, if they knock down a few shots. But Ohio State was also better than Kentucky – that’s going to be a great game.

When am I going to learn ....

….to listen to you? Sigh.

VCU has beaten teams from the Pac 10, the Big East, the Big 10, the ACC, and the Big 12

All that’s left is the SEC…so VCU over UK in the championship game at 135 points.

My bracket is awful, so I won't give you any game predictions.

Like, historically bad (none of the Final 4 right, less than half of the Elite 8). What I will tell you, though, is that the average of the last 15 years of tournament finals results in a score of 78-69. Add those together, and you get 147. A good guess on it’s own, but based on who gets into the final, you may want to adjust up or down depending on if you think it’ll be more high-scoring or more defense oriented.
