Orange and White Game Plans
[Ed. UPDATE] Bumped to the top with a call to action below in the comments. Looking for someone to take the lead on figuring out if RTT folks want to get together and, if so, when and where.
So yeah, the Orange and White Game is this Saturday. Here's the schedule:
10:30-11:30 a.m. -- Fans Day autograph session at Haslam Field. The first 7,500 fans receive free Fan Pac, which is apparently much cooler because it's missing a "k." Also, you are apparently limited to one autograph item, so choose wisely. I'm betting that crowd control strategy involves having a walk on in a jersey at the gate signing as much stuff as he can and a guy behind him sending everyone to the exits because they've met their quota.
12:30 p.m. -- Gates open at Neyland Stadium.
2:00 p.m. -- Kickoff.
Tickets are $5 and can be purchased at uttix.com or at the game at Gate 21.
The game is being streamed live on Fox Sports Tennessee, with audio from the Vol Network radio broadcast. It's also being televised on Fox SportSouth on Sunday at 8:00 p.m. Eastern and Monday at 1:00 p.m. Eastern. We'll try to remember to have an open thread for the Sunday showing. I'm looking into having Fox Joel's Backyard televise the thread.
I and my family are already going to be in Knoxville anyway for a cello recital at 11:00, so we'll be there for kickoff, but I'm not sure how much sooner. I'd love to meet some of you face-to-face, if possible.
What are y'all's plans? Do we have enough interest in a meet up or seating section or something? Let us know what you think below.

I've got friends in Knoxville who just had their first kid
so I’m coming in and attempting to make it a multitasking weekend. Hopefully I’ll actually get off the golf course in time for the game this year.
I can speak for at least two more RTT people there
I’ll be there with my Dad, and I think one of my sisters is coming along as well.

I will probably be there
With my 2 year old son. I will be working on a Habitat for Himanity peoject sometime in the morning but should be done in time to make the game. Unfortunately my wife won’t make it this year as she will be selling jewelry at a big consignment sale that will be taking place in Knoxville this weekend. I would love to meet up with anyone who plans on going. I will have a few other friends who we will be meeting up with too and I’m sure they’d get along great with any of you since they are also huge Vol fans.

Not quite sure yet
I have to make a call to someone at our church to get the address. I remember someone saying something about being near Chilhowee.

Argh.
So of course I’ll be working in Alabama of all places for the next ten days. Wearing my orange with pride, tho.
So I forget — is there a halftime at this game?

How long will the game take to end?
And how many final plays will there be?
Formerly 'snail. You get used to it after a while.

Oh.
Won’t be able to make it back for this, unfortunately. I kind of have plans to come back this fall, though.

Coming!
That’s about all I have plans for, other than to leave with a(nother) horrific sunburn.

Daggone it, of course I will be working in Lexington this Saturday...
sweet. mother. of. breadsticks.
nope.
the Navy frowns on such weekend shenanigans and being in ACC country makes the Tennessee version of Fox SportsSouth hard to come by. also, ODU football is NOT, repeat NOT, the same.

Thanks!
It’s supposed to storm here tomorrow anyway.

All right, everyone
Need someone to take the lead on finding a time and place for a quick meet up. I’d do it, but I’m not sure of my availability.
So if someone’s interested in getting a group together for however long and for whatever reason, pipe up here and rally the troops.

Default plan
If there are no takers to tell the rest of us where to go and when, then my default plan is to sit in the JumboTron end zone for the entire game with my wife and two daughters, as close to the front on the lower level as a I can, and, if I can’t get to that location, then to tweet my location once I find it.

Sounds like a good plan
Due to something that’s come up I won’t be able to get there right at 2. But when I get there I will look for you in the Jimbotron end zone near the front. It will be me and my son. This is all assuming the weather is good.

I'll be there with my Dad and sister
I think I have your phone number still. Should I text when we get there and see if anything happened?

Yeah, that sounds good
Would love to meet up with y’all.
Our plans may be changing, although I’m not certain how (or even whether). Nursing a sick cellist, so it may be all go as planned in the morning, half go with just me and the oldest, or no go at all. Will know more in the morning.

I have a mother recovering from surgery
So our plans might be changing as well. We’ll see how she feels in the morning. I’m definitely taking the little sister, but it’s up in the air with Dad.

The halftime game is being played in that end zone
so this is a good idea
