Kenny Hall accepts challenge of leadership role with Vols " GoVolsXtra
Kenny Hall insists there's not any pressure on him.
Scout.com: Versatile Vol
Except for the point-guard position, Renaldo Woolridge could show up anywhere on the floor in 2011-12. He has played the 2, 3 and 4 positions previously, and - being the Vols' tallest returning player at 6-9 - could play some center this season, according to first-year head coach Cuonzo Martin.
Scout.com: Defensive front will determine Vols success
Tennessee must have solid play from its defensive front for the Vols to have marked improvement this fall.
VolQuest.com - Mitchell likes Vol visit
After spending the bulk of the their early time in Knoxville scrambling to add help in the 2011 Class, Cuonzo Martin and his staff have increasingly been able to turn their attention to 2012 of late. The Vols saw some early returns on those efforts when power forward Charles Mitchell made an unofficial visit to get a first hand look at the program.
FORMER VOLS
VolQuest.com - Catching up with Eric Berry
Some great quotes from Berry on everything from his NFL experience to his brothers to Janzen Jackson.
Scout.com: A Little too soon
"Sometimes I wish I was 10 years younger," the former Vol conceded during a recent stop in Knoxville. "But me and Jevon Kearse (Florida) came out in the same era, and we were those 'tweener guys that weighed between 250 and 260 but still played defensive end. "I think we started that trend. I wish I was 10 years younger but I basically can say that we helped start the trend toward smaller defensive ends."

We're in real trouble
if Woolridge is getting time at the 2 or at center. The latter of which would require him to be spending a lot more time at Waffle House and a steroid cocktail for dessert.
BTW, is there a place we can get a box score and stats for the rocky top games?
[Woolridge’s] playing weight right now is 220 – up from 208 last year

That's (333333jorkland)^2 and $$$$$$$$immons to you, chump.
I don't know much about the prospective AD's
and I don’t have access to that article. But I do know that Mike Alden has done a great job at Missouri (maybe with the exception of his last bball hire – but only time will tell on that one). Along with the powerhouse Athletic Departments of Texas, Ohio State, Alabama, Florida, and Tennessee – Missouri was one of only 9 departments that actually made a profit during the economic downturn. Their football and basketball programs are doing pretty well and supposedly they’ve done a great job with new facilities. Alden isn’t from Missouri, but he has family ties there. I would think we can lure him away.
