While things are slow in Big Orange Country as we work our way towards fall camp, I thought I would open this topic up for discussion; orange pants vs. white pants for away games.
Let me explain my thoughts on this. Ultimately the color of the pants doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things, and honestly I wouldn't bring it up if not for things being so slow. However, I can not ignore the fact that since Phillip Fulmer left we have worn the orange pants and white jerseys on the road. Once or twice would be ok with me, but I do have to say that I really don't care for the orange pants at all, especially every single away game. I never have cared for wearing orange pants, and it seems like in recent memory not much good happens when we wear orange pants (except for the black jersey Halloween game).
The all white to me has always looked clean and proffesional. Nothing flashy, but simple and sharp. The orange socks with all white looks pretty good, but either way I just prefer white pants on white jerseys. I noticed on the new NCAA Football 12 the default away uniforms were all white. I just thought I would open this up to conversation and see what everybody esle thought. I think if the general consensus is all white then we need to find a way to lobby Coach Dooley and see what we can do. So, let's hear it Vol Fans, what do you want to see?
