Norcross (Ga.) jumbo receiver Jason Croom has committed to UT, ultimately choosing the Vols over Mississippi State. Other schools who offered Croom that he highly considered were LSU, Auburn and Florida State. The 6-foot-4, 230-pound receiver could grow into a big, athletic tight end, but he'll first be given his shot at receiver. He runs a 4.5 40-yard dash and is rated as the 156th-best player in the country by 247 Sports. Every service rates him as a four-star prospect. He joins Drae Bowles and Keithon Redding as UT WR commitments in this year's class, and he's the 16th overall commitment for the Vols.
