Montana Ticket Update: How Are You Watching Saturday?

Our ticket provider sent us this graphic, and as you can see, tickets to Saturday's season-opener are available pretty much everywhere and range from $25-$173, depending on how good the seats are.

Montana is the third-cheapest game of the season right now [behind Buffalo and Middle Tennessee], and with it only being available on pay-per-view, it seems you can grab some tickets and head to Neyland Stadium for a pretty decent deal. With all the tickets available, it begs several questions for you guys heading into the season. Feel free to answer as many of them as you will:

  • What's it going to take to get Neyland Stadium rocking and sold out again? [My answers will follow...] If the Vols take care of business in the first couple of games and somehow upset Florida in Gainesville, the Buffalo game will actually be a tough ticket, as will every home game afterward. Everybody loves a winner.
  • Is this Montana game just one of those boring contests everybody expects UT to walk away with? I don't. I'd be going up there if it weren't for my niece's third birthday party. I always love season openers, and I think this one is actually going to be close for a while and entertaining from the jump.
  • What kind of game had you rather attend -- a cakewalk win against a cupcake opponent or pay more and run the risk of losing to a high-profile team? Always the high-profile games for me. I have a tough time driving three-and-a-half hours to watch a 40-point win. I normally pick the games I think will be the best games ... not necessarily against the best opponents. For instance, if Bama was in Knoxville this year, I wouldn't bother.
  • What games are you guys going to this season? I'm at least heading to Cincinnati, Georgia and South Carolina. LSU is up in the air, as is MTSU and Vanderbilt. I know MTSU goes against what I said above, but it's my dad's alma mater, so we may try to roll up.
  • Finally, how will you be watching Saturday? Going to the game? Getting it on Pay-Per-View? Booting it up on the laptop? Taking it in from the sideline [We know you read RTT, Coach Dooley...]? I'm going to try to stream ESPN3 through my television. If that doesn't work, we'll Pay-Per-View it.
