Mike Keith & John Wilkerson talk Tennessee Baseball
For those who don't know, before Mike Keith was the voice of the Tennessee Titans, he was the voice of the baseball Vols during their peak in the mid-90s, and he was spectacular at it. This is a nice couple of minutes from the Leadoff Banquet via UTSports.com with Mike Keith and John Wilkerson, who still covers the baseball Vols today.

Mike Keith has a great gig
but I was still really pulling for him to get the UT job when John Ward retired. Mike Keith was great on SportsTalk back in the day, too.
Agreed
So much better than Kesling.

Much better...
but Ward was hellbent on getting Kesling the job over Keith, and he had a ton of pull with the owners of the Vol Network at the time(Host Communications?)
Try being a Yankees fan.
Suzyn Waldman has been making our ears bleed for all 7 years since Charley Steiner took off for the Dodgers
Hello ladies. Look at your man, now back to me, now back at your man, now back to me. Sadly, he isn't me.
Mike and his son sat two rows in front of us at the basketball game.
Surprised at how young he still looks.

I'm just seeing this for some reason.
But as a Titans fan, I’ve always loved Mike Keith. My signature is his radio call of the Music City Miracle.
"Do the Titans have a miracle left in them in what has been a magical season to this point? If they do, they need it now. Christie kicks it high and short. Gonna be fielded by Lorenzo Neal at the 25; he dishes it back to Wycheck; he throws it across the field to Dyson. 30, 40, 50, 40, 30, 20, 10, 5, endzone...touchdown, Titans! There are no flags on the field! It's a miracle! Tennessee has pulled a miracle! A miracle for the Titans!"
