So how do we do from here on out 10 and 2 losing @KY and @ Bama?
or 8 and 4 losing @ Fla and @ Vandy?
Can we beat LSU and SC on the road? or Arkansas at home?
at 19 and 12 and 11 and 5 do we make a tournament?
at 17 and 14 and 9 and 7?
My prediction is 3 losses including @KY and 2 of the @Bama @Vandy @Florida games
and 2 wins in the SECT for a 20 and 13 and SEC 12 - 7 *inc 2-1 in tourney
Does the improved record after Stokes get us enough consideration to make us tournament eligible?
Yes - NIT where we could make a serious run if we get some home court games.
and if we can score a run to the SEC Tourney Title we will get a win in the NCAA and maybe 2
Is the UConn win - the first with Stokes starting and a double double transformative? That's my hope
Does it take our scrappy - oh so close team - to the confidence to win those games we lost before Stokes? I hope so
Is it a confidence builder that will take the improving Vols to a tournament and a miracle season in the final 12? I think so

we haven't won a road game all year
including losses to CofC, Oakland, and Georgia. I can’t predict anything other than losses at Florida, Vandy, Kentucky, or Alabama.
But in the road games with Carolina and LSU and home dates with Vandy, Georgia, Carolina, and the SEC West trio (of extreme home/road splits), it’s not unreasonable to hope for 7-1.
So I went 7-5. Which would get us NIT by the skin of our teeth.
If I cared more about my UNC side, I'd call myself "Tar Volon," and that'd be awesome.

I see the UConn win as transformative
The first start and a double double for the future of the Vols
and an extreme confidence builder for the whole improved team
a perfect storm of the right guy and the right coach at a point where hard work is coming together to make this team more than it’s separate parts with a miracle made possible.
I’m an optimist with some good reason to be optimistic
We beat Vandy on the road and at home
and we win at Bama
and Florida is possible but I go 9 and 3

Bama looks like a real hard out, to be honest.
And Vandy is still Vandy, for all of it. Ask me again after we win in Memorial. That’ll be a big Litmus test. If we want anyone to consider us a potential anything dangerous, it begins in Nashville.

Boom. Here comes the Boom. Braydy or not. Here comes the boy from the West.
Litmus test to be sure.
More than anything, a win in Memorial indicates floor leadership from within the team on the floor as Zo will be inassessible for the second half.

yep
which with an inexperienced and dumb team is not a good thing. But I actually think that over the course of the their careers, Zo will end up much more successful in Nashville than Pearl was (Bruce was 3-3 there), because Zo’s offense relies much less on plays called from the sideline. (This is obviously relative to the quality of Vanderbilt)
