I'm probably over-analyzing
But for the first time this evening, I was just struck by the lack of anyone “poised to dump Gatorade” on him. One guy had a water bottle, and Pearl obviously recoiled at some off-screen prank/threat. So it’s probably just the natural exaggeration that goes with telling a great story, which this was. Still, it struck me differently tonight than it had before.
Regardless, I still want to see someone rip their shirt off if we win tonight. I’ll take Jackson’s fur if that’s all we got.

FWIW
Our coaches that win in Rupp Arena are usually too inexperienced to know any better. Don DeVoe won at Rupp in Year One. Jerry Green lost by six in Year One and beat them in Year Two. Bruce Pearl won in Year One.
