Not Gruden, not Fisher, not Gundy, not Strong...what's next?
Here we go again.
Tennessee appears to be back to square one in The Great (?) Coaching Search of 2012. With the fantasy names out and the Vols reportedly turned down by Mike Gundy and Charlie Strong - who dominated both of our previous polls on this subject - we go back to the board and once again ask, who would you like to see as Tennessee's next head coach?
As we're back to the drawing board, we'd like to welcome back a couple of names from our original poll. We've continued to try to list those who are being talked about. There are conflicting reports about whether or not Larry Fedora interviewed with Tennessee, but at this point as no one has confirmed that he didn't, he's in. We're still not sure the Vols will call Bobby Petrino, but he's back on the board. We're all quite sure the Vols will not (nor should be) show causing it up with Jim Tressel, so he's out.
And while this isn't meant to dominate the thread, we are including Phillip Fulmer this time around. There is zero official chatter or anything from any media source to suggest it's in the works. But there is absolutely enough chatter among the fanbase to see exactly how well this dog will hunt in this poll.
As always, feel free to leave your thoughts and comments in a rapidly changing environment. Go Vols.
