Okay, we're fixing to play our first real series of the year. While NIU was obviously a D1 team, Seton Hall recruits an entirely different class of players and this will be a huge test for the BaseVols. Last season the Pirates won the Big East conference title and advanced to the NCAA Regionals where they defeated #2 Arizona before dropping the next two to end their season. Their first four this season were in the Big East/Big Ten Challenge where they defeated Northwestern and Penn State and lost to Michigan and Ohio State. Having made the point that they will be a challenge, I still expect Tennessee to take 2 of 3 from the Pirates... we are simply a deeper team at both hitting and pitching, and their Big East tournament title was not indicative of the rest of their season.
