So for whatever reason, the ESPN3 direct links have never actually worked for me.
It’s not an issue, but it’s kind of odd.
Formerly 'snail. You get used to it after a while.
I think he did it so we could see the McStache in the starting lineup.
I hope he gets subbed out and that’s the only reason why.

yo dawg I herd you liek embedded avertising
so I put a Watch ESPN ad in your Watch ESPN so you can Watch ESPN while you Watch ESPN.
Formerly 'snail. You get used to it after a while.
We're so much bigger than this team inside
but as was the case in Athens, they’re going to let us shoot all night
Dawgs won't shoot 80% from three all night
but we’re on our three-per-minute pace that sometimes gets us into trouble
So I'm watching this on mute at .4 frames per second
Because the ‘3 sucks…but Imma guess this offensive explosion won’t continue…right?
I like Tennessee and Vanderbilt. There aren't many like me, and they're probably better off for it.
LETS HAVE A REAL GOOD TIME LETS HAVE A REAL GOOD TIMEQ
LETS HAVE A REAL GOOD TIME…………
sweet. mother. of. breadsticks.
Meet you under the overpass!
I’ll be the guy doing parkour.

That's a little better

I like Maymon's 360 layup
All on the ground.

Really good defense
the last couple of possessions.

That was the dumbest pass in a long time.

Boom. Here comes the Boom. Braydy or not. Here comes the boy from the West.
Run and tell that
That was…an exciting ending.
I like Tennessee and Vanderbilt. There aren't many like me, and they're probably better off for it.
30-28 Vols at halftime
Georgia has taken eight more shots than us thanks to their refusal to turn it over (2) and our refusal to foul (5)
Welp...UGA is good at starting halves
I like Tennessee and Vanderbilt. There aren't many like me, and they're probably better off for it.
Ole Miss up 7 at Alabama in the early 2nd half...
Crimson Tide are certainly trying to play themselves out of the NCAA Tournament.
and Mississippi State barely escaped a home loss to Auburn...
won by 3. That would have absolutely wrecked the SEC standings.
It's UK, UF, and everyone else
Florida’s win today gives everyone else at least 3 losses.
I like Tennessee and Vanderbilt. There aren't many like me, and they're probably better off for it.
I'm beginning to suspect that the SEC is REALLY weak this season...
that Florida team isn’t particularly impressive, but they are still 7-1
although not playing UK helps...
I’d be surprised if Kentucky lost a conference game this season. I wouldn’t be particularly shocked if they average less than 2 conference losses as long as Calipari is there recruiting 5 NBA players a year.
I still think Vandy is really good
Mississippi State is when they choose to be. Everyone else just really struggles to score.
Vandy is really talented...
but man, they may be the most inconsistent SEC team relative to their talent level not coached by Gillespie that I’ve seen in years.
Yep
Louisville’s been in the top 5 in attendance for almost every year since the 1980s. Only slip was Denny Crum’s last year, I think.

Tied back up at 41 on Hall FTs.

This is just a really weird game
We never get to the free throw line, yet these will be 13 and 14. Georgia’s shooting about what we usually give up (41.7%), but has only turned it over twice. That’s hard to do no matter who you’re playing.
Twice?
I recall 5 first half turnovers from Georgia. Announcers believe it, at least.

I've realized something tonight
Chris Lofton isn’t walking back through that door. I actually already knew that. However, our hopes for what this team can become in the future are dependent on us finding a shooter. UGA has doubled down in the post SO hard all night and we haven’t really been able to make them pay.
I like Tennessee and Vanderbilt. There aren't many like me, and they're probably better off for it.
We need a shooter who can make their own shot...
Tatum can’t shoot and McBee has no moves.
Honestly, I’d kill for a shooter who was as maddeningly inconsistent as Tony Harris… so long as he could go off on occasion.
Tennessee gets in the bonus with 10:49 left in the half.
Georgia has some serious post foul issues.

Boom. Here comes the Boom. Braydy or not. Here comes the boy from the West.
Georgia is 6 of 12 from three
but just 9 of 26 from two.
And we’re in the bonus. We should get some separation here.
/fouls a 3 point shooter.

Jeronne...not a shooter
I feel like I’m being kind.
I like Tennessee and Vanderbilt. There aren't many like me, and they're probably better off for it.
Ugggggggggly shot from Maymon...
looked like me playing pickup basketball. Believe it’s safe to say he ain’t exactly Wayne Chism.
And then, from nowhere... Tatum!

Just how we drew it up
I like Tennessee and Vanderbilt. There aren't many like me, and they're probably better off for it.
Yikes
Didn’t like that shot when it went up. Going down, however, was quite nice.

The building is quiet ...
… because Vols fans are scared to cheer too much, lest they jinx their team.
“Uhm, let’s get to a minute left and up by, say, 10 point, and I’ll feel okay about cheering.”
:-)
by Bruce in Louisville on Feb 4, 2012 9:46 PM EST reply actions
The Stokes free throw thing seems even longer in person
it’s really strange…everybody gets quiet the way they usually do before the home team shoots free throws, and then it lingers
GO OLE MISS
suppose pulling for them is a mistake in regards to conference standings, but the heck with Alabama
Yeah
He’s having a nice night.

I'm beginning to love McRae...
man, he’s got some great agility if he’d just learn to play aggressive consistently.
Maybe he can be that guy who can create his own shot
Still feel like he needs to add about 15 pounds and learn to bring it all the time.
I like Tennessee and Vanderbilt. There aren't many like me, and they're probably better off for it.
Hard to figure
it’s 50% our winning percentage, 25% strength of schedule, 25% our opponents’ strength of schedule. We’ve still got two against South Carolina that won’t really help us even if we win
You're right.
I knew I’d seen “99” in connection with Tennessee somewhere. :-)
by Bruce in Louisville on Feb 4, 2012 9:52 PM EST up reply actions
This might be the first time all year we've played a true nine man rotation
the longer we stick with the same thing, the better we’ll be there
Ugh
I hate games that end like this. Just hope we hit the FTs.
by Bruce in Louisville on Feb 4, 2012 9:59 PM EST up reply actions
Maybe it can go to overtime
after UGA gets another couple foulouts trying to catch back up.
(Part of me loves to see games go to threeve overtimes when one team doesn’t have any subs left.)
by David Hooper on Feb 4, 2012 10:02 PM EST up reply actions
Because admit it,
you’d love to see Georgia stuck putting a guard out to defend Stokes.
by David Hooper on Feb 4, 2012 10:03 PM EST up reply actions
Well there's a fun way to end it.
Ugh.

Posterity:
Fox says something to the ref after a miss and Maymon rebound, gets T’d up and almost immediately double T’d and ejected

Thought the ref was a little quick with the second T
Some refs will walk away after the first T to let the coach calm down.

I wonder what the magic words were
I like Tennessee and Vanderbilt. There aren't many like me, and they're probably better off for it.
73 points!
An offensive explosion!
I like Tennessee and Vanderbilt. There aren't many like me, and they're probably better off for it.
Drawing an intentional technical...
has it’s place, but it’s not as effective as some folks seem to believe
And that place is definitely not with 19 seconds left
by Will Shelton on Feb 4, 2012 10:13 PM EST up reply actions
definitely...
Even as unlikely as it would be, Georgia still had some kind of shot until the technical FTs
Considering Ole Miss has played 7 players...
they have exactly ONE guy on the bench right now with any minutes in the game.
I’d love to see just how terrible their bench is if all the starters fouled out.
Overtimes are usually decided by one team breaking
rather than one team excelling.
by David Hooper on Feb 4, 2012 10:32 PM EST up reply actions
they've looked like they expected to lose this...
for a while now.
Absolutely no fire in this Ole Miss team.
I'd like to have seen what Grant would've done to Releford for trying to go behind the back there
had they not called the foul
This creates a 3 way tie for 5th...
with 8 teams within 2 games of each other.
Pretty amazing that a bye is still in play for 10 out of 12 teams in February.
and looking at it...
if we’d just avoided that bad 4 game stretch in the non-conference we’d be smack in the middle of the at-large discussion
The overtime losses to Memphis and Georgia and that ridiculous Austin Peay game go differently
And we’re 14-9 (4-4), and yeah, in the conversation.
