Tennessee's Top Cornerback Commitment MacKensie Alexander Re-Opens Recruitment

One of the least-committed "commitments" in recent memory, Immokalee, Fla., CB MacKensie Alexander has decommitted from Tennessee after just a few weeks. For some reason, 247 Sports' No. 2-ranked corner decided to pledge to UT and lead recruiter Darin Hinshaw a while back. Ever since, he's talked big about Alabama, LSU, Florida, Florida State -- basically everybody but the Vols. Tonight, Alexander told 247 Sports' Charles Power that he has decided to re-open his recruitment using the excuse that defensive backs coach Terry Joseph left for Nebraska. Joseph played little role in his early recruitment. The Gators, Tide, Seminoles and maybe Notre Dame look to be the hot teams right now in his recruitment. Not so much right now with the Vols. Oh well, onto the next one... Probably kiss this one goodbye.
