First of all I want to thank the guys here for this series. It has brought back some truly exciting memories for me. I grew up watching Tennessee football with my father, and it was a great era to be doing it. From Majors to Fulmer, it was one hell of a ride. Some of the best memories I have with my father are watching these games live or with him in front of the TV.

It would be really easy to watch these plays and get depressed about the state of affairs. I say do not let that happen.

I love this university. My daughter will go there. My son will go there. The first song they could sing was not Row Your Boat. It was Rocky Top.

I love this university so much that I hate seeing the athletic department, that flies it's flag, in such disarray. Whether we like it or not, the athelics department is are how people across the country associate success with our university.

Things have fallen on hard times. That is for sure. But they will not stay that way. Be sure of that! WE are to PROUD, to STRONG, to RESILIENT, to let it be any other way.

Do not be down on this years team. Support them. Go to the games. Turn Neyland back into one of the most feared places to play. Be the BIG ORANGE I was raised to love. We are better than the gamecocks. We are better than the bulldogs. We are better than the commodores. And we are damn sure better than the jort, flip flop wearing, Gator fans. And while I am at it ........ Buck FAMA!!!!!!!!!

DO not let these plays be depressing. Let them be an inspiration to you. Without our support, this team is Vanderbilt.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GO BIG ORANGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
