However, I just can't help but to whimsically dream about what could be with our offense. I really believe that Tyler Bray is an all-world quarterback when healthy. And look at our embarrassment of riches at receiver! Am I just blinded by orange, or is the Hunter/Rogers combo potentially one of the most lethal ever, especially when they have an arm like Bray's delivering the ball to them? And what if Cordarelle lives up to the hype? Let's talk about the O-line. Isn't it true that the o-line is the one position group where experience is most crucial? Huh? Huh? Hard knocks, they've had a few, but no one can argue that as a group they are dripping with potential. What if they can freaking put it together this year? What if they can finally learn to plow open some running holes? What if Jay Graham can teach the running backs how to have great field vision, hit the holes and... run good? And hey, I mean hey, ya know, the defense, I've heard, is actually filled with athletes who are more suitable for the 3-4 than the 4-3 anyways. All they have to do is stop the other team from scoring more than our offense! Like with Auburn a couple of years ago, 'member how what's his name, the quarterback, was so good that Auburn won the natty champy even though the D was sort of so-so? Yeah.
I've been getting that old familiar feeling again. I don't like it, I've been burned too many times. I don't believe our defense is going to be very good because Georgia and Alabama struggled when transitioning from a 4-3 to a 3-4. So, in the absence of information that would convince me otherwise, I'm going to go with my mental heuristics and assume that our D is going to, to put it plainly, suck.
It's the final countdown my friends! Let's go! Let's do this!
