SB Nation Scouting Report: Evan Berry

Evan Berry

Creekside (Ga.) High School athlete Evan Berry slightly favors Tennessee in the recruiting process. He's one of the famed "Berry twins," along with brother Elliott, who are the younger brothers of Vols star Eric Berry and son of former UT captain James Berry. Here is Bud Elliott's scouting report on Berry.

Tennessee fans have been dreaming of deploying two more Berrys on the football field in 2014.

Athlete Evan -- who is listed as a defensive back but could play on offense -- and Elliott -- who is a safety who has the frame to grow into a linebacker -- are versatile athletes with a bucket load of offers. Evan is the more nationally acclaimed of the two, and SB Nation national recruiting editor Bud Elliott put up his scouting report on Berry today.

The Vols currently lead for Evan Berry, according to a recent article by GoVols247's Ryan Callahan. He plays option quarterback at Creekside, and many teams are recruiting him to play cornerback or safety on the next level. However, he wants to play on offense, and the Vols are open to playing him on that side of the football.

Anyway, take a look at Bud's Scouting Report on Berry.
