Consensus 4* Dual-Threat QB/S Jauan Jennings Chooses Vols

Butch's recruiting bricks keep on brickin' with the commitment this morning of Murfreesboro's Jauan Jennings, a 6' 4'', 185-pound junior from Blackman High School and 247's overall #1 recruit in the state for 2015. Jennings led the Blackman Blaze to an 11-3 record last year, throwing for 1,465 yards with 14 touchdowns, as well as rushing for 795 yards and 10 TDs. He also moonlit on the other side of the sticks with 28 tackles and two interceptions as a safety, where it appears most project him as playing at the college level (Scout.com lists him as 15th in the nation at that position).

Jennings chose Tennessee from a final 6 including Alabama, Auburn, Mississippi State, Ohio State, and Northwestern. Jennings is a standout bouncyhoops player as well, leading the Class AAA state title-winning Blaze in scoring this past season.
