#8 Tennessee will begin its Super Regional tonight at home against #9 Texas A&M. Both teams went 3-0 during the Regional round of the NCAA Tournament. Tennessee won two of three games between the teams during the regular season.
ESPN announced times for its slate of college football games on opening weekend. The Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game between Tennessee and Georgia Tech was officially announced as an 8 p.m. kickoff on Monday, September 4.
The game will be the first meeting between the Vols and Yellow Jackets since Tennessee’s 29-15 win in 1987.

Tennessee will travel to Ames, Iowa next season to face off against Iowa State in the 2018 SEC-Big 12 Challenge. Tennessee won its game in the Challenge last season, defeating Kansas State in Knoxville. The January 27 game will be the first meeting between the Vols and Cyclones since 1977.
